Chester Bennington has been at the forefront of everyone’s mind as it was confirmed the singer committed suicide last Thursday.

Fans of the Linkin Park singer were devastated as many used Bennington’s voice to portray their own issues in life.

Other musicians such as Stormzy, Rihanna and Pink have expressed their sorrow over the singer’s death and urged people to get help if needed.

Chester Bennington has left behind six children and his wife Talinda Ann Bentley. It has been reported that the singer’s final purchase was a new $2.5m house in LA for his family.

TMZ indicated that the house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms which has led to the belief that he was ensuring his family would be secure before passing away.

It has also been reported that neighbours publicised that Bennington had moved into the two-story house alongside his family prior to his death.

Property records have determined this to be true as the home was sold on the 26th of May.

Following the singer’s death, his band mates in Linkin Park expressed their heartache on social media and set up their own suicide-prevention website.

The site offers advice to anyone who needs help and allows people to leave their tributes to Chester Bennington.

Chester.linkinpark.com states: “In case you or someone you know needs support, here are some resources”

It goes on to list various contacts numbers as well as links to other different suicide prevention websites.

It is upsetting to know that Chester helped so many fans in his lifetime but could not help himself when it came down to it.

He influenced so many people around the world and many have been affected by his passing.

It is heartbreaking to know that someone who was so creative and inspiring ended their life because they didn’t see a way out.

If any of this resonates with you or you need help right now, please seek the relevant resources and support.

It is vital that we all stick together and help each other so mental health can be discussed more openly and supported.
